The company

Kumho is an international tyre manufacturing and distribution company. Our Australian operations consist of warehouses in each state which despatch orders to tyre retailers.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and professional Warehouse Manager for our warehouse facility at Ottoway. The role exists to provide leadership to coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of tyres to our customers.

This position is ideally suited to an experienced warehouse manager with outstanding leadership and analytical skills. You will also possess previous experience in staff supervision, stock control, deliveries as well as associated administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities

·      Leading, Managing and scheduling the work of our warehouse team members

·      Being a role model for positive culture and a safe work environment

·      Managing team performance and compliance with policies and procedures

·      Develop and implement innovative work practices for a simple and effective environment

·      Analyze delivery methods, schedules and routes to identify how to optimize the delivery of exceptional customer service

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

·      An uncompromising attitude and commitment to safety

·      Ability to communicate effectively whether coaching one-on-one or delivering a team talk in front of the group

·      Effective writing and PC skills, including intermediate word, excel and SAP experience

·      A personal standard of neatness, tidiness and professionalism that manifests itself in the workplace

·      Excellent leadership, coaching and organization skills, with a ‘clean desk’ approach
