We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Loan Kit Technician to join our Port Melbourne team. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing, maintaining and coordinating surgical loan kits and instrument sets to ensure they are delivered accurately and on time. If you take pride in your work, have exceptional attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities while working to tight deadlines, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure they are complete and fully functional Work closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts To be successful, you will have: At least 2 years' experience within a Loan Set, Medical Devices, Sterilisation Services, Theatre Stores or similar hospital environment Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control Experience using ERP or inventory management systems Strong organisational and time management skills A proactive, "can-do" attitude The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy A continuous improvement mindset What's On Offer Be part of a supportive and collaborative team Work with market-leading medical technology that helps improve patient outcomes Ongoing training and development opportunities A stable role in a growing healthcare organisation Diverse and varied work where no two days are the same Opportunity to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes of critical surgical procedures Additional Requirements Participation in an on-call roster Some out-of-hours work as required Availability for two weekend stocktakes/cycle counts each year A current Australian driver's licence LifeHealthcare is guided by a set of values; Accountable, Agile, Authentic, and Customer Centric that define who we are and how we work.
