Technical Lead

In Australia, we are supporting major transformation programs and are currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead.

We’re looking for a Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in C# .NET application development, solution design, and technical leadership. This role sits at the intersection of delivery, architecture, and engineering, supporting the design and evolution of business-critical applications in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand user and business requirements and translate them into well-designed application features
• Lead the design and implementation of application solutions
• Deliver new features as part of ongoing system enhancements
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and business users
• Ensure adherence to technical design guidelines, code review standards, quality practices, and monitoring requirements
• Perform and oversee unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing
• Apply development standards and best-practice technical design patterns
• Stay current with emerging technologies, standards, and development methodologies
• Actively participate in IT delivery processes, ceremonies, and team forums

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in C# .NET development
• Proven experience in application and solution design
• Hands-on experience with Azure, microservices architectures, and AKS
• Experience working with on-prem servers, networking, and off-the-shelf software solutions, including vendor collaboration
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
