Your Impact In this dynamic role based in Canberra, you will provide support to Partners, Associate Partners, and Engagement Managers, while also assisting with general office administration tasks to support the operation of our Canberra office. Our Executive Assistants are expected to act as an informed deputy to those they support, be proactive and creative problem solvers, create trust-based relationships within their network while building their own, and have a commitment to delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment whilst demonstrating exceptional organisational skills. You will support calendar and travel management, including proactive handling of scheduling conflicts, while building strong collaboration with client assistants, internal peer groups, and external vendors to efficiently execute daily tasks. You are expected to prioritize tasks independently, manage accounting and expense-related activities, produce well-organized and accurate deliverables, and provide backup coverage in coordination with other assistants and team leads or managers. A key element to the role includes assisting with general office administration such as maintaining supplies and coordinating events, and contributing to processes or projects. Additionally, you should be adept at using current tools and quickly adopting new technologies or solutions, while actively contributing to a vibrant and collaborative team environment. The team currently works flexibly with a mix of in-office and working from home, with increased in-office presence as required. Your Qualifications and Skills
- Several years of senior-level experience in a professional, dynamic environment with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven organisational skills, including managing complex senior-level diaries.
- Detail-oriented, able to prioritise and multitask effectively, with strong ownership evident through responsibility and accountability for the end product. Highly proactive mindset.
- Excellent prioritisation, time management, and multitasking abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset and logical problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build relationships with diverse individuals at all levels, coupled with emotional maturity, empathy, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with highly effective communication skills, including active listening and tailoring communication styles.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments, priorities, and personalities, with resilience and composure under pressure.
