Moreton Hire is seeking a highly organised and detail‑focused Contract Administrator to support the delivery of high‑profile semi‑permanent modular projects and temporary infrastructure works across a diverse range of industries. Based within a fast‑paced project environment, this role plays a critical part in ensuring contractual, financial, and compliance obligations are met from project initiation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract administration: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, variations, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Project support: Assist Project Managers in coordinating project deliverables, schedules, and reporting requirements.
- Stakeholder communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment on contractual obligations.
- Cost control: Track budgets, monitor expenditure, and support financial forecasting and progress claims.
- Compliance management: Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, safety, and industry standards across sectors including health, aviation, industrial, and defence.
- Procurement coordination: Support procurement activities, including sourcing quotes, evaluating suppliers, and maintaining procurement records.
- Risk and issue management: Identify potential risks or discrepancies in contracts and escalate appropriately.
- Documentation accuracy: Maintain detailed records, registers, and reporting tools to support project governance.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role within construction, events, modular infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, procurement processes, and project documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across major venues, health, aviation, industrial, and defence environments.
