Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community?This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.We currently have two positions available, one permanent full time and one permanent part time. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 September 2026. What is our Outpatient Clerk role?Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing an effective and efficient clerical service, ensuring a high standard of care and service to all service users for the designated deparment, centre of service. This includes:

  • Being responsible for front desk patient reception, clinic prepation, new and review appointment and outpatient letter processing.
  • Maintaining the completeness of medical records and associated documentation and to utilising the computerised information system to manage the patient's health record.
