The role

As a People Advisor, you’ll be responsible for helping managers and staff navigate everything from recruitment and entitlements to workplace safety and employment conditions. You’ll be the person they turn to for clear, timely guidance that aligns with public sector rules and departmental policies. You’ll help shape and maintain the department’s organisational structure, making sure it’s accurate, compliant, and ready to evolve as the business does.

The team works in a fast-paced environment, so being responsive and customer-focused is key. You’ll need to stay sharp on changing policies, systems, and business priorities, and bring that knowledge into every conversation. Whether it’s updating SAP data, contributing to team projects, or driving process improvements, your work will help ensure People and Culture services are practical, relevant, and well understood across the organisation.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or related discipline, or relevant equivalent experience.
