Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will be tasked with identifying and developing new business opportunities within our specified verticals. Your primary goals include meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role involves leading collaborative efforts with clients to align their existing business processes with improved digital solutions. You will guide clients in creating internal business cases through personalised proposals and subsequently manage new growth opportunities within their accounts as additional sites come on board.

Responsibilities:

  • Importantly this is a quota carrying sales role that requires you to meet personal sales revenue targets. Your ability to meet and exceed these targets is important as you will be a key contributor to the Growth Team overall sales target.
  • You will identify and develop new business opportunities within our specified verticals. Typically, within an already identified target addressable market.
  • You will lead collaborative sales efforts with our potential and existing clients to align their existing business processes with improved digital solutions.
  • You will create assist our customers with internal business cases through personalised proposals.
  • Manage new growth opportunities within customer accounts as additional sites come on board.
  • Overall, you will be required to collaborate and communicate within the overall team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and Obzervr.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates for this role must possess a minimum of a Graduate Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent level technical qualification. Relevant qualifications in business, sales, marketing, or a related field will be highly regarded. Alternatively, significant hands-on experience in SaaS sales or a comparable industry, coupled with a proven track record of success, will also be considered as meeting the education requirementBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven solution sales experience holding a personal sales quota.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage key decision makers.
  • Capability to comprehend and clearly articulate technical concepts.
  • Ability to connect with customers, fostering strong relationships.
  • Familiarity with asset management or maintenance processes within asset-intensive industries is a key need for this role and you will be highly regarded.

Locations:

  • Brisbane CBD Based 5 days per week for first 3-6 months
  • Hybrid working opportunities (1-2 days WFH) after first 3-6 months
  • Travel is required as part of the role.(as a guide, approx. 1 week per month on average may be required to be travelling to client locations)
