About Company:
An international oilfield services company with technical engineering expertise in well integrity and log analysis for the oil and gas drilling and production sector.
Role Purpose:
As Technical Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with providing the company's oil and gas solutions in Production, Well Integrity and P&A across Australia.
You will become project owner of technical products, right from discussions with the client until the interpretation and submission of the final logging analysis report.
To promote well integrity technology and log analysis through technical papers, workshops and presentations; liaising between R&D and the field engineers to troubleshoot problems with tools and software.
Assist with engineering and drilling planning and job design for enhanced operational and production efficiency.
Resolving design and operational problems in the oil and gas drilling field through the application of engineering and well integrity logging technology and data.
Responsible for well logging planning, QC data and analysis, including software development input and testing.
You will lead the log analyst team and analyst training across geographical locations.
Forecasting cost and preparing cost analysis and financial plans.
Experience Required:
10+ years’ professional work experience in a technical engineering position within Oil & Gas wireline cased hole services (preferably Well Integrity). For example, Well Log Analyst, Technical Domain Champion, R&D Engineer for wireline, or Reservoir Engineer.
Knowledge of well logging and log analysis, processing, and interpretation
Field data capture and well analysis technical capabilities, including electromagnetic corrosion logging, passive acoustics and formation flow profiling using temperature modelling.
Experience drafting and interpreting engineering specifications, drawings, planning, and determining enhanced drilling production methods through logging data analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or an Engineering related discipline.
