Role Description
We are currently seeking an accomplished Territory Sales Representative with demonstrated ability to successfully grow our customer base in our Molendinar store. The Territory Sales Representative will need to be a dynamic team player with the strength to build and maintain successful business relationships. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, providing product knowledge and support, processing sales orders, and conducting market research across the Brisbane area. . The role involves traveling within the designated territory to meet with clients and prospects. The successful applicant will have minimum 2-3 years previous sales experience in similar role, be results-driven, highly motivated, hard working with a go getting attitude and be prepared to knock on numerous doors cold calling building sites and factories throughout the area. They will be able cope working under pressure, have intermediate computer skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in sales or a related field
- Knowledge of construction and industrial materials
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with employees, peers and customers
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Valid driver’s license
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
You will possess a professional and proactive approach to your work with experience in supporting high performing teams. As a strong communicator and influencer you will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the business and will be adept in negotiating and problem solving.
