The Opportunity The sky is the limit when it comes to events at our 6 unique Gold Coast properties! From gala dinners hosted by the Joker, to breakfast with the Dolphins at Sea World or cocktails in the Scooby Doo castle you will plan and coordinate the delivery of all aspects of allocated Conferences, Events, and Weddings across Village Roadshow Theme Parks and Sea World Resort. Your Day To Day

  • Coordinate all aspects of events and create event orders based on client requirements
  • Compile detailed event orders with information received from clients
  • Provide written and verbal quotations for events; prepare contracts and conduct timely follow ups to secure sales
  • Attend expos and other trade shows as required
  • Complete meet and greets and conduct client famils and site inspections as required, including weekends and nights
  • Reconcile post-event accounts to match quoted charges and any changes made during the event
  • Work closely with the Village Roadshow Limited accounts team to finalise event accounts and ensure balances are paid in full

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a similar role in a large scale venue or hotel is required
  • Strong coordination, time management and multi tasking skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • High level of skill with Excel, Word and Outlook and general computer literacy
  • Experience in Opera is preferable
  • Commitment to achieving performance targets and an acceptance of accountability
  • Current Open Drivers Licence
  • Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekend will be required
