Join ASIC's Internal Audit team and play a key role supporting strong governance and assurance across the organisation. This role provides high-quality administrative and secretariat support to the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) and the Internal Audit function, enabling effective decision-making and oversight.

  • Location – Sydney or Canberra
  • Salary range – $81,396~$93,303 (depending on experience) plus 15.4% superannuation

The team Internal Audit is a core element of ASIC's corporate governance framework and works closely with the Audit and Risk Committee, senior leadership and key stakeholders across ASIC. The team delivers independent assurance over governance, risk management and internal controls, supporting ASIC to operate effectively and with integrity. The role As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be accountable for:

  • Providing secretariat support to the Audit and Risk Committee, including meeting coordination and stakeholder liaison
  • Arranging ARC meetings, travel, accommodation, agendas and meeting papers
  • Supporting contract management activities, including onboarding service providers and processing invoices
  • Coordinating records management, correspondence and document control for Internal Audit
  • Building effective working relationships to ensure actions, papers and deadlines are met

About You You are an organised and proactive administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment. You take pride in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality support, and you are comfortable working autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team. You Will Have

  • Experience providing administrative or committee support in a government, corporate or professional services environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to build effective working relationships, including with senior stakeholders
