Facilities Operations Manager

Role: Facilities Operations ManagerLocation: Chullora, Western SydneyPackage: Competitive + bonus

The Role:

Reporting into the centre manager, you will be responsible for 3 retail assets in and surrounding Chullora area.

Your duties and responsibilities as Facilities Operations Manager will be as followed:

• Lead operations across the centres, ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance is carried out to a high standard Manage partnerships with key contract providers to ensure compliance, delivery on time and within budget
• Monitor contractor performance and host bi-monthly contractor meetings, providing feedback to efficiently manage each contractor performance
• Ensure team respond immediately to all emergency, evacuation, or other critical incidents within the centre
• Prepare and present operations Repair & Maintenance expense budget annually and regularly monitor budgets across the team
• Provide recommendations to National Operations on operating and capital budgets
• Manage partnerships with key contract providers to ensure compliance, delivery on time and within budget
• Implementation and compliance to all associated WHS&E policies and procedures
• Ensure all required maintenance, contractor or compliance data is accurately maintained and captured as input into plans or strategies for the asset
• Lead initiatives from the Sustainability Framework (energy usage reduction, greenhouse gas emissions)
• Foster a culture that improves sustainable business practises in key areas of Waste, Water and Energy.
• Ensure systems used for managing Work, Health and Safety processes are utilised in accordance with company policies.

To be successful in your application as Facilities Operations Manager, we are looking for the following skills/experience:

• Experienced operations and facilities manager within a retail environment
• Good technical building operations and legislative knowledge
• Proven experience in building strong tenant, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships
