Job Summary

  • Business Development Manager, develop & maintain new product category business within ANZ region whilst supporting ANZ Regional Director.
  • As a core member of ECOVACS' rapidly expanding ANZ team, your core responsibilities will include: qualifying, winning, maintaining, and expanding current and new channel partner relationships in Australia & New Zealand to impactfully launch new ECOVACS home robotic categories, exceed sales targets and managing all sales administrative and data analysis tasks to achieve company objectives. You will be fully responsible for ECOVACS' sales and growth targets for new product categories, specifically providing channel sales support to new and existing resellers and distributors, driving the implementation of sales strategies, closely collaborating with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team on product launches, and qualifying and onboarding new strategic channel partners. It is crucial to focus on developing our existing robotics portfolio into new channels while paying equal attention to the success of our emerging robotics categories.
  • This role requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, strong negotiation and data analysis capabilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You need to think strategically at a macro level while developing detailed and comprehensive sales plans backed by data and insightful analysis. As the key point of contact, you will communicate and execute defined sales strategies and plans with key resellers and distribution partners, while coordinating with the Business Control and GTM teams at headquarters and the local marketing team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans specifically tailored for new product categories, aiming to achieve ANZ financial targets and business objectives. Leverage market insights to drive the growth and market penetration of new product lines in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with key retail, online customers, distribution partners, and new potential accounts across Australia and New Zealand. Focus on promoting the adoption and sales of new product category offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives for new product categories in the ANZ market. Identify untapped opportunities, develop targeted strategies, and expand the market presence of new products.
  • Oversee the full - cycle account management for new product category customers. Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by providing customized solutions and proactive support.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sales operations and Go - to - Market (GTM) strategies for new product categories. Optimize processes, introduce novel sales approaches, and enhance the overall effectiveness of product launches and market rollouts.
  • Conduct accurate forecasting, in - depth sales analysis. Provide data - driven insights to inform business decisions and refine sales strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive competitor analysis for new product categories in the ANZ region. Monitor competitor activities, product features, and market positioning, and formulate competitive countermeasures.
  • Manage internal communication with stakeholders, including marketing, finance, GTM teams, and senior management, regarding all sales - related aspects of new product categories. Ensure seamless cross - functional collaboration and alignment of goals.
  • Indirectly support and mentor territory managers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively sell new product category offerings.
  • Conduct product training sessions and presentations focused on new product categories for both internal teams and external customers, highlighting product value propositions and application scenarios.
  • Travel as required.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Over 7 years of experience in the electric tools and lawn mowers industry
  • Strong awareness of technology and market trends, with previous experience in consumer electronics, especially in Connected device, smart home devices.
  • Passion and strong interest in exploring new technologies.
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent English in verbal and written, Chinese language skill is a plus.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong presentation and influence skills with internal and external audiences
  • Have experience in power tools/outdoor tech/new tech categories
