Your Role As a Commercial Manager &#x2013; Project Delivery, you&#x2019;ll be a key member of the Commercial &amp; Contracts Team, providing commercial leadership and assurance across major delivery contracts, third-party agreements and stakeholder arrangements. You&#x2019;ll help ensure contractual compliance, manage commercial risk and provide strategic commercial insight to support successful project delivery. You&#x2019;ll <ul><li>Support day-to-day commercial management, governance and assurance across major project delivery contracts and ancillary contracts.</li><li>Support the administration and commercial performance of major delivery contracts, including ITC and EPC arrangements, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and governance requirements.</li><li>Provide strategic contractual and commercial advice to project delivery teams to maximise contract value and support effective project outcomes.</li><li>Lead and coordinate commercial aspects of interfaces between multiple package contractors, including commercial risk mitigation initiatives.</li><li>Lead the assessment and analysis of claims, changes, delay events and interface disputes, supporting effective negotiation and resolution.</li><li>Provide forward-looking commercial insight, risk intelligence and recommendations to support strategic commercial decisions.</li><li>Develop briefing materials for internal and key stakeholder approvals, including financier approvals, relating to contract changes and claims.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Project Controls, Legal, Procurement and Finance to align contractual obligations, project reporting and governance.</li><li>Monitor commercial, contractual, financial, operational, reputational and supply chain risks, ensuring emerging issues are identified and addressed early.</li><li>Oversee and support compliance with key contractual requirements, including notice provisions, reporting obligations, security instruments, insurances and contractual risk ownership.</li><li>Maintain audit-ready commercial documentation and ensure clear traceability of entitlement, evidence and approval pathways.</li><li>Represent Marinus Link&#x2019;s commercial interests in contractor negotiations, package interface forums and other stakeholder engagements.</li><li>Promote a collaborative, fair and continuous improvement culture across the project. </li></ul>For a copy of the Position Description outlining the key responsibilities of this role, visit the link here: https://marinuslink.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Commercial-Manager-Project-Delivery_PD-1.pdf You&#x2019;ll Need <ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a similar technical or commercial discipline. Relevant postgraduate qualifications are desirable.</li><li>10+ years&#x2019; experience working with a head contractor and/or client-side organisation delivering construction projects.</li><li>Demonstrated success in a Commercial leadership role within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor or client-side project delivery environment in the energy or linear infrastructure sectors.</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-package delivery environments, ideally including ITC, D&amp;C and/or EPC delivery models.</li><li>Strong experience managing complex contractual interfaces and resolving commercial issues across interdependent contracts.</li><li>Proven experience leading entitlement assessments and claims analysis, together with strong contract interpretation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to negotiate commercial outcomes using evidence-based commercial reasoning.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of commercial management and governance requirements within major infrastructure projects and regulated environments.</li><li>Experience in project cost control, cost management and project performance reporting.</li><li>An understanding of project financing and associated reporting obligations.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and clearly articulate contractual rights and positions.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Experience using Document Management Systems and specialised project software such as InEight, TeamBinder or similar Electronic Document and Records Management Systems.</li><li>Experience in ITC and EPC contract management and an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to Marinus Link are highly desirable.</li><li>A high level of computer literacy, including experience with relevant document management and project systems. </li></ul>We Offer At Marinus Link, We Are Building a Passionate And Talented Team Dedicated To Delivering Australia&#x2019;s Renewable Energy Future.
